Bruce
Odell, who makes his home in Lafayette, LA, the
heart of Cajun Country, has been sharpening his vision
and skill
at the potter's wheel since 1976.
After 15 years in the pottery business, Bruce
entered the U.S. Pottery Olympics on a whim, and won this competition
3 years in a row.
In 1992 at the Tourney Mondial in Faenza, Italy, he became
the first American to win the World Championship.

Gay Odell is a native
of Acadiana with Cajun heritage and 5 generations of family all
living in Lafayette.
After many years of business experience, she brings innovative
organization to the creative chaos of the pottery studio.
Like most Cajuns, when they are not working
hard in the pottery business, Bruce & Gay are playing hard
through personal fitness, gardening, fishing, dancing, or family
fun.
